We have an opportunity for you to join the adidas Group Wholesale Field Team as a Sport Performance Field Sales Coordinator. Based at our Head Office in Lisbon, this role is responsible of ensure profitable market share and net sales growth with Field Accounts in Portugal area while respecting the adidas and reebok brands image. 

The successful candidate:

  • You should have minimum 5 years of sales experience within large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes and at least 3 years’ experience of people and operational management. 
  • High analytical skills for strategy development, business planning and decision planning as well as strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills. 
  • Strong decision taking and determination and shows high initiative and pragmatism to the business.
  • You should also be fluent, both written and spoken in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage field customers, set objectives, strategies, tactics, allocate resources and ensure translation into action plans respecting the framework set by the customer portfolio strategies 
  • To review, challenge and sign off Field Strategic Plans. 
  • To ensure a coordinated and efficient sell-in process, usage of sell-in tools and the correct implementation of trade terms
  • To accompany the Field Account Representatives to visits where possible, ensuring store visit checklist guidelines are respected, store audits are conducted and train on visual merchandising, point of sale, etc…
  • To set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all reports
  • To develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job
  • To manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
  • To ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces
