Ortofon A/S is a micro mechanical and financially prosperous company, which develops, manufactures and markets the world acclaimed Ortofon cartridges. Ortofon is also a significant subcontractor to the Hearing aid and Medical industry. The company is located in Nakskov in the southern part of Denmark. Ortofon employs a staff of 100 people, many with an international background. The work environment is informal and non-hierarchical with the focus on professional competence and results. Ortofon is currently working in close collaboration with European partners and Universities in the ambitious training network MICROMAN project. Ortofon has developed significantly during the past 15 years and is currently at a stage where the use of advanced technologies permits new business opportunities
